Job Description | | | -Develop a conceptual framework to be used to undertake the CAEC -Define the basket of essential commodities for the Cambodian context -Identify and analyze the available sources of data through desk review -Plan the country assessment,based on the identified information gaps and the conceptualframework -Implement country data collection through interviews ,consultations and site visits -Analyze findings provide recommendations on: -The level of accessibility, availability and, affordability of the basket of essential commodities, in particular for the most marginalized populations -Linkages between the lack accessibility/availability and poverty,discrimination and poor outcomes for children at the community and household level -Inventory of the production ,import and distribution of the basket of essential commodities -Logistics implications in the process of delivering supplies -Capacity of the government for supply chain management, -A mechanism to monitor the availability of essential commodities at the national, sub-national and community levels -Produce a final CAEC report that comprehensivelyexamines all aspects of the situation as per CAEC guidelines | | | |

Required Skills/Experience | | | -MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE -Advanced University in the social sciences,market research or related fields -Eight years of relevant professional work experience at the national and international levels market analysis,and/or supply /logistics management. Previous experience in conducting CAECs,either in Cambodia or another country ,an advantage -Fluency in Englishrequired -COMPETENCIES REQUIRED -Analytical and conceptual thinking -Excellent reporting skills -Knowledge/involvement in current social sector developments as they relate to women and children -Familiarity with Cambodia’s current nationaldevelopment processes and socio economic environment | | | |
