The Cambodia Skills Development Centre is a local Cambodian entity founded as a fully funded USAID program in 2005, & now evolving intoa fully self-sustaining local training services provider. CASDEC is seeking a senior business development manager to lead client relations & drive sales & revenue under the new business plan, serving the manufacturing sector in Cambodia.
Senior Business Development Manager: Manufacturing SectorPurpose of the Position: Manage and driving business relations, development of services to the garment sector & to diversify the productivity training in the future. Primary focus is developing a strong pipeline of sales. As a senior team member the successful applicant will be supported by the director & be actively involved & fully responsible for the technical team deployment & the personal development needs, business development activities & diversification, customer
relations & market growth.
You will report to the director & Board of Directors & will be responsible to supervise & develop the technical team.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Business Development & Planning:
- Primary responsibility for all aspects of technical training business development in the garment sector
- Relationship management with the manufacturing sector
- Ensure effective planning & deployment & monitoring of services
- Ensure continuous developments innovation of work
- Conduct technical seminars & workshops to promote the business
- Ensuring pricing of services is adapted & updated
Team Management & Office Responsibilities:
- Fully responsible for team development monitoring, coaching & success of team deployment & scheduling
- Support implementation of team activities if necessary
Education, Skills & Background Required
- 5 to 10 years experience in sales, marketing or business development in the manufacturing sector preferred with a strong understanding of production processes & challenges. Background in education would be a plus
- Must understand the garment sector in Cambodia & productivity challenges & possess supervisory experience in the garment sector
- Strong business development skills & knowledge of how to access top management & decisions makers in garment factories in Cambodia.
- Excellent reporting, analytical & business understanding skills - competent in Microsoft Office skills
- Must be able to multi task, work independently & motivate your team
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- English a must - Chinese speaking a strong advantage as you will be working with a significant number of Chinese speaking top managers.
