Responding to its expansion this year, FLD is seeking 01 Cambodian National for the position of Community Development Facilitator (CDF). The position is initially appointed for 4 months and to be based in Prey Veng province but the CDFs will be required to work also in Svay Rieng province during the project implementation.
Responsibilities include: - Assist in identifying and selecting households which fit the project criteria. - Conduct a village meeting to introduce money saving concepts and approach toward group''s saving and credit. - Facilitate in election of group executive members. - Facilitate and assist in formulating group rules for group saving activities. - Identify individual and group''s needs for capacity building. - Provide appropriate training courses to group members and elected group''s executive members. - Work closely with local authorities (commune council members) village chief, partner organization, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of the project.
job Requirement: - Bachelor of Business Administration or Agronomy or Development (Candidates who have been still continuing his/her study at the University is allowed to apply). - Potential new graduates are considered, but preferably with at least 1 year work experience with NGO on similar theme. - Experienced in training facilitation. - Good computer skills in MS Word and MS Excel, and use of the internet. - Able to travel to villages and stay overnight when necessary. - Have minimum ability in communicating in English language.
