Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ordering fills and credits, float management
- Maintaining discipline in the pit, in a fair and consistent manner
- Issuing disciplinary paperwork
- Coaching and developing staff
- Drop Box collection
- Ensuring that all subordinate staff follow all Company Rules and Regulations
- Enforcing the dealing procedures on the gaming tables
- Monitoring table results, and reporting significant swings in result to the Pit Manager / Casino Shift Manager
- Ensuring that all Pit Paperwork is completed accurately and correctly
- Random checking of table updates to ensure accurate reporting by DI's
- Monitoring and taking action on affected tables (issuing “Shuffle B”)
- Keeping CCTV informed where required
- Immediately informing the Pit Manager, Casino Shift Manager, and CCTV of any suspicious behavior or incident
- Reporting on hourly table results (entering of results into the computer system)
- Tracking of VIP players' results
- Dispute settlement
- Changing of cards on all card tables
- Personally verifying certain payments
- Opening and Closing of gaming tables, both on the tables and in the computer system
- Allotment of dealers and DI's on gaming tables, and organizing breaks for all floor staff
- Identifying and monitoring potential VIP players
- Ensuring the general cleanliness of the pit
- Ordering pre-shuffled cards from the pre-shuffle room to maintain a certain level of available cards in the gaming pit, and exchanging used cards with the pre-shuffle room
- Monitoring of table games for possible cheating for, or against, the house
- Providing good customer service, by ensuring that the players get good service from the waitresses, friendly treatment from the gaming staff, etc.
