Construction Engineer

Job Description:
Reporting to the Design Manager, the Construction Engineer is responsible the following duties:
Responsibilities:
- Plan the construction project on the time frame, labor, equipment, material, and activities.
- Design and review the project structures and hydraulic systems both in Khmer and English.
- Survey the construction site and give a report on how they wish to carry out the project and its consequences.
- Advise the workers on the construction process and address their concerns.
- Calculate the bill of quantities to set cost and budget for the project.
- Obtain the construction materials and verify them.
- Schedule the construction work and activities.
- Lay down the preferred construction methods - At least bachelor degree in civil engineering, construction or other related fields.
- At least 3 years professional working experience in construction works at site or structural design.
- Experience as sub-contractor is advantage.
- Must know how to design and review the construction structure.
- Must be a critical thinker
- Must be a good listener
- Knowledge of Ms. Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Robot, Photoshop & Microsoft Project.
- Can speak, write and read English.
- Ability to prioritise effectively and work to tight deadlines.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
